What Does It Say On The Packaging?

This is a clarifying shampoo that removes build-up and leaves your hair feeling fresh. The packaging is light and fun, but also easy to read. I was surprised to see how quickly my order arrived on my doorstep. It shipped and arrived in less than 24 hours, which means it will be convenient when I’m traveling for business or going away for a weekend getaway with friends. Overall, I think you can’t go wrong giving VERB shampoo a try! Great ingredients + great value = A winning combination!

What Does It Contain Inside?

In order to provide you with a clearer look, VERB has developed a clarifying shampoo that helps to remove residue and buildup. Use once every two weeks and experience softer hair. The ingredients inside include: Water, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Cocoamidopropyl Betaine, Amodimethicone (silicone derivative), Lauramine Oxide, Polyquaternium 7, C13-14 Isoparaffin (thickener), Panthenol (conditioner derived from Vitamin B5), Disodium EDTA (chelating agent), Laureth-7 (an emulsifier for silicone derivatives) Persea Gratissima Oil (Avocado oil) Alcohol Denat.

How To Use The Product?

VERB Reset is a clarifying shampoo. It comes in at 9 oz, and is free of all parabens, sulfates, dyes and fragrances. I didn’t find that it worked any differently than my usual Aveda Botanical Kinetics clarifying shampoo or other drugstore brands that were natural-ish. The instructions advise you to apply to wet hair and rinse thoroughly (which I did). Once rinsed out, you need to let your hair air dry or use a blow dryer on low heat setting (you don’t want to expose your hair to extreme heat after using a clarifier). The instructions suggest repeating once every few weeks if needed.

Does It Live Up To Its Claims?

Yes! I have thick and wavy hair that is prone to build-up, so a clarifying shampoo was exactly what I needed. The VERB Reset Clarifying Shampoo is formulated with proteins to strengthen your hair’s natural barrier, making it great for coarse or damaged hair. It removes buildup while keeping your strands strong and healthy. I saw visible results after just one use! Now my mane feels soft and smooth without being too weighed down by product.

Why Should You Or Shouldn’t You Buy This Product?

You should definitely buy this product and yes, it’s pretty expensive, but I have to say: It’s worth every penny. For starters, it completely transformed my life! I’ve been using VERB for three months now and I can happily say that my hair looks better than ever before—and that includes when I was a kid. My hair isn’t oily or dry anymore, it doesn’t hurt, and best of all: It smells good! All these things make me feel good about myself—and who doesn’t want to feel good about themselves? Check out VERB; you won’t regret it.

Pros And Cons Of Using This Product.

There are quite a few pros to using VERB and I have highlighted them above. As for cons, there are really only 2 that I have found with it. First of all, you need to take note that while it is sulfate free and organic, it still contains some ingredients (such as parabens) which many people do not like to use in their products.

If you are someone who is sensitive to chemicals like parabens then you may want to check out other sulfate-free shampoos. Also,  if you have color treated hair or colored your hair recently, be aware that some reviews say that they experienced slight color fading after using VERB.

The reason why this happens is because one of its main ingredients is PVP/VA Copolymer, which helps protect against UV rays but can also cause fading if used too frequently on color treated hair. Other than those two things though, I love everything about it!
